Tour cost (all inclusive): 114 200 RUB. if you book before 30 st of June 2019. After that date price will be 125 800 RUB. If you book in advance you will save 11 600 RUB.
Price includes: a set of personal climbing equipment; transfer from Novosibirsk to Tyungur village and back;  horse transfer for gear and food; off road transfer to Kuzujak Pass; cook service on days 3, 4, 5, 10, 11, 12; all food during active part of tour; first aid kit; medical and outdoor insurance (only for summit days 6-12); guides; all permits and fees; group gear (gas stove, gas, kitchen gear, kitchen tents, axe, saw); accommodation in Tyungur village,bathhouse 2 times in the village of Tyungur; сommon alpine gear (ropes and so on); satellite phone for emergency.
Price doesn't include: flight to Novosibirsk and back; food while transfer and in Tyungur village; gear renting; extra sauna; extra insurance; satellite phone for private calls (250 RUB per minute).
Attention for foreigners! Summit area is a pre border area with special permutation. All documents for permits must be sent two months before the trip.

Belukha Mountain - is the holy mountain for many nations. Buddhists believe here is Shambala - the great country which will be open for the world when humans are gone.

Orthodoxes believe here is the entrance to the great Belovodye country. When Nicolay Roerih discovered Buddhism he visited this place in the beginning of the last century.

Today travelers from the whole world come to the pedestal of this mountain. Everyone searches something for himself - an eternal balance or extreme adventure. But only the bravest ones can stand on a summit of this great mountain. Unexplained magical energy of the mountain inspires people.

We offer this tour for adventurers who has experience in mountaineering, alpine climbing or mountain trekking. Tour including three summits on most stunning peaks of Belukha Mountain such as East Belukha Peak, Delone Peak and Ak-Ojuk Peak in Alpine style. The lines of 2A and 4A rate Russian Mountaineering Federation Rating.

In this tour you will not only climb the peaks of the Belukha Mountain, you will make a beautiful trekking route to Akkemskoe Lake and visit holy places and see amazing Altai nature.

The way to the summit goes parallel with Belukha pedestal trekking route and East Belukha Mountain Summit route. If your friends or relatives want to go with you but they are not ready for the summit, they can wait you near Akkemskoe Lake or take rest on Holy places of Gorny Altai tour, Altai Yoga Tour, Photo Tour or East Belukha Mountain Summit tour.

We are fanatically committed to the standards of safety, far superior to the ordinary requirements! You can enjoy your adventures. Every year we do our best for improving our skills and techniques. Satellite phones, GPS, Radio, first aid and Insurance for every member of the group.

Our guides are professional certificated mountaineering instructors trained in a Central Alpine Instructors School on Caucasus.

Important details

  • You must have an experience of mountain trekking or mountaineering or alpine climbing on peaks alt. 4000 m. and higher for this tour. You must know how to use ascender, belay device, alpine technique of moving in a bunch.
  • You can book a helicopter for transfer from Tyungur Village to Akkemskoye Lake and back (not including to price).
  • Day routes from 10 till 20 km.
  • Group from 3 to 6 persons + guides.
  • The chief will made a food on a trekking part of the tour. On a summit part of the tour you must cook for yourself. We will give you food, gas and stove for every tent-team.
  • There will be horse transportation for food, common equipment and part of members of the group equipment (including to price).
  • We will send you gear list, detailed information and member form receiving your tour request. Tour request doesn't understand you have to go. It is only we send you information for making decision.
  • There will be medical insurance for all group. Also we will inform Ministry of Emergency Situations about the group and the route.
  • You will order tour by 30% deposit. In case of cancellation of the trip no later than two months before the start of the trip, the prepayment is not refunded, but remains in your "account" to pay for future hikes and ascents during the year from the date of the registration fee.

Requirements for participants

This tour is much more difficult comparing East Belukha Mountain Summit tour. Members of the group must have an experience of mountain trekking or mountaineering or alpine climbing on peaks alt. 4000 m. and higher. You must know how to use ascender, belay device, knowing alpine technique of moving in a bunch on ice and snow. Members must be in a good shape.

For preparing to this tour we recommend you to take our Alpine school in Tuyk-Su Valley. If you don't have such experience we describe before we are recommend you to take East Belukha Mountain Summit tour. During this tour you will make all skills you need for the Traverse tour.

Day 1. 18:30 local time meeting all members of the group in Novosibirsk. 20:00 local time depart to Altai Mountains on comfort bus.

Day 2. Riding by famous Chuyski Tract. Preborder checkpoint crossing in Ust-Koksa Village, arriving to Tyungur Village, staying in camping with 2-3 persons tents and woods for fire and local shelter. Gear and clothes checking. Allocation of the gear and food in a group. Carrying common gear and food on a horses. Safety briefing. Sauna, common dinner with local food and dances.

Day 3. Breakfast (including to price). For the next two days group will carry gear and food for two days trekking. Rest of the gear and food will carry horses. Group off road transfer on 4x4 vehicle to «Tri Berezy» camp through Kuzuyak Pass (alt. 1513 m.) in a good weather conditions. We need this transfer for saving your energy befor summits. Easy trekking by a forest trail - beginning of Akkemskaya trail. Night in a tent near stunning Tekelu Waterfall. It is also possible to make a helicopter transfer

Day 4. Trekking along the Akkem River to the famous Akkemskoye Lake (alt. 2100 m.). 8-10 km. We will see amazing landscapes of the Belukha Mountain. Also we can observe all our alpine route. Meeting with carrying horses with the gear and food. Allocation of the gear and food in a group. Night in the tents near the lake in Extreme Time Camp. Trekking sauna available.

Day 5. Early morning start. Moving by the trail to the Valley of Seven Lakes. From this place you can observe stunning views of Belukha Mountain and Ak-Ojuk Peak with hanging glacier. In the valley you will see seven lakes with different colors - from deep blue to light pink. They represent the seven channels of human energy. Also notable Valley area of alpine meadows with blooming edelweiss. If you're lucky, the mountains will slightly open their wealth, and you are lucky enough to take home the raw natural rock crystal from the Valley of the Seven Lakes - is advised to use this as an amulet. Summit of Ak-Ojuk Peak (alt. 3650 m. or 3800 m.) by the ridge as training and acclimatize. Rate of the line - 2A. Moving in a bunch by the snowy and rocky ridge belaying each other. Return on Akkemskoe Lake. Night in the tents.

Day 6. Training of alpine techniques (theory and practice). Hiking to Yarlu Valley. This valley interesting not only bright colors of the slopes, specially bright after rain, but a holy stone. This stone is very important for admirers Roerich. Now there is a stone town around this stone. Returning back to camp. Sauna available.

Day 7. Trekking to Tomskye Stoyanki camp (alt. 3000 m.) from the Akkemskoe Lake through the glacier (17 km.). Crossing the Akkem River by the bridge. Visiting chapel. Ascending by the icefall. Night in the tents or in a hut.

Day 8. Beginning of alpine part of the tour. Early morning start. Ascending on Delone Pass (alt. 3400 m.) by the ascenders and ropes (preparing by guides). Summit of Peak of Tomsky Studentov from the Delone Pass. Returning to Delone Pass, ascending by the snowy ridge of Delone Peak. Building a camp below the summit on a snow (alt. 3900 m.).

Day 9. Assault of Delone Peak (alt. 4260 m.) by the ridge. Descending to col, travers of the ridge and assault of the East Belukha Peak (alt. 4509 m.) - the highest point of Siberia and Altai. Length of the ridge - 3 km. Night in the tents on a col of Belukhinsky Pass.

Days 10, 11, 12 and 13. Extra days for the bad weather, acclimatize and other unforeseen situations.

Day 14. Trekking from BBC Pass through Delone Pass to Tomskye Stoyanki camp. Trekking to Akkemskoye Lake (9 hours). Arriving to Extreme Time Camp, sauna. Rest.

Day 15. Trekking from Akkemskoye Lake to Tekelu Waterfall. Night in the tents. For renting horses from Tekelu Waterfall to Tyungur Village please inform us during day 2 (not including to price). Also you can rent a helicopter for transfer

Day 16. Off road transfer to Tyungur Village. Finish of the tour. Dinner with local food and local dances and songs (if you wish). Russian sauna. Depart to Novosibirsk.

Day 17. Arriving to Novosibirsk (Extreme Time office or hostel). Farewell to the participants in Novosibirsk and the departure of the tickets already purchased.

Depending on weather conditions and the group guides can change the route.

It is not a public offer.

If group doesn't use extra days:

  1. Finish our tour earlier. In this case depart from Tyungur Village to Novosibirsk will be 18th July. Arriving to Novosibirsk 19th July early morning.
  2. You can stay on Akkemskoe Lake and make hiking to the natural and holy objects: Yarlu Valley, Seven Lakes Valley, Mountain Spirits Lake, Kara-Turek Pass. In this case your depart will be 22nd July.

If group will use extra days depart from Tyungur Village will be 22nd July, arriving to Novosibirsk will be 23rd July in the morning.
