What you will get from the tour
Among the variety of magnificent mountain scenery you will find a rich program of art. From morning etudes, when you can smell the fog and touch more unblown flowers with trembling drops of dew, to evening plen air on a background of blue peaks, framed in gold of the setting sun.
Surrounded by snow-white mountains, pearly lakes, endless mosaics of grasses, inhaling the healthful mountain air makes the soul tremble - you'll discover a new talent!
You have to capture the extraordinary beauty of the brush through the sacred places and walk away with a piece of magic experienced on a sheet of paper. In addition to the classes in the visual arts you will find a number of interesting workshops on different types of needlework and creativity.
What you will see
Tour begins with a three-day trekking from the Tungur village to a legendary Akkemskoe Lake near the Belukha Mountain. From there, we will implement creative hiking routes.
You will get acquainted with the Yarlu Valley, shimmering cascades of amazing colors from purple to blue.
We also will visit the Lake of Mountain Spirits, which is associated with many legends. The famous artist of Altai GI Choros-Gurkin, student of Shishkin, made an amazing painting «Lake of Mountain Spirits» in this place which reflects a wonderful, mysterious way, of Altai Mountain.
Valley of Seven Lakes lies at your feet velvet mosaic of herbs, sparkling streams penetrated by a plurality of streams flowing into the serene expanse of alpine lakes.

program
Basic concepts of painting: composition, tone, color.
A detailed study of the art of creating etudes in nature.
The whole process of painting from the beginning until the completion of the work: how to mix paint, take care of the
brushes, how to draw and save your art.
Features of transmitting the light at different times of the day.
Select a composition, and the best location for the etudes.
Transmission of light and perspective.
Methods of images of water, transparency, reflection in the water.
Various objects drawing technique: receding shores, stones, rocks, glaciers, different types of clouds and how they write, vegetation of Altai (birch, larch and other trees, shrubs and herbs).

Day routes from 7 till 24 km.

The chief will made a food on a trekking part of the tour. There will be also duty helpers from the members of the group (everyone will grab a wood for fire and will help with cooking).
People younger 18 years old can take the tour only with parents.

If you will pack your backpack smart, there will be no problem with the weight of your backpack. We can consult you about your gear list.

The price of the tour is set at a group of 6 people. When a group of 4 people the price is - 10% higher, with a group of 2 people - 20% higher.
You will order tour by 30% deposit. In case of cancellation of the trip no later than two months before the start of the trip, the prepayment is not refunded, but remains in your "account" to pay for future hikes and ascents during the year from the date of the registration fee.

Day by day description
Day 1. 18:00 local time meeting all
members of the group in Novosibirsk. Depart to Altai
Mountains.
Day 2. Pre border checkpoint crossing,
arriving to Tyungur Village, staying in camping with 2-3 persons
tents near the Katun River. In camp there is a woods for fire, rain
shelter, water for drink, electricity, place for barbeque, luggage
storage, souvenirs. Safety briefing. Gear checking. Allocation of
gear and food between members of the group. Packing food and part
of the gear on horses for carrying. Getting to know the basics of
drawing: chapeau, chromatics, mixing paints and usage - theory and
practice. Meeting members of the group near the fire.
Day 3. Breakfast in the cafe on the
camp site. Start of active part of the tour. For saving your energy
we recommend you to use off road transfer on 4x4 vehicle from
Tyungur Village to «Tri Berezy» camp.
It's real adventure! Trekking 10 km. Night in a tents near the
creek. Class of drawing, etudes on a beautiful spring
creek.
Day 4. Trekking from the Tekelu Waterfall
the Akkemskoye Lake (alt. 2100 m.). We will see amazing landscapes
of the Belukha Mountain. Distance 7 km. is a easy and comfort
trail. Building a camp on a Akkemskoe Lake Shore. Meeting with
carrying horses with food. Night in a tents near the lake. Trekking
sauna available.
Day 5. Hiking to Akkemsky Glacier
together with the group of Belukha Mountain Summit tour. Crossing
the Akkem River by the bridge. Visiting Chapel. Ascending by
moraine slope. Visiting foot of the glacier where Akkem River is
born. Walking on a glacier. Observing stunning views of East and
West Faces of Belukha Mountain. Saying goodbye to the group of
mountaineers. Back to the chapel for the art class. This time for
stunning views on Akkem Wall Mountain and Peaks of Beluka Mountain
- East and West. Back to the camp on Akkemskoe Lake.
Day 6. Hiking to the Mountain Spirits Lake
(Gornyh Duhov Lake). Situated on alt. 2600 m. South-East of
Kara-Oyuk Valley (Black Valley). Many legends and stories local
knows about this place. Popular Chinese painter GI Choros-Gurkin,
student of Shishkin, made in this place amazing painting
«Lake of Mountain Spirits», which
reflects a wonderful, mysterious way, in its unexplored Altai
mountains. Back to the camp on Akkemskoe Lake.
Day 7. Hiking to Yarlu Valley. This valley interesting not only bright colors of the slopes, specially bright after rain, but a holy stone. This stone is very important for admirers Roerich. Now there is a stone town around this stone. The most picturesque and long class on this tour - a great opportunity to show the incredible paint of Yarlu Valley slopes and fascinating story of the «Stone Town»! Back to the camp on Akkemskoe Lake.
Day 8. Hiking to the Valley of Seven
Lakes. From this place you can observe stunning views of Belukha
Mountain and Ak-Ojuk Peak with hanging glacier. In the valley you
will see seven lakes with different colors - from deep blue to
light pink. They represent the seven channels of human energy. Also
notable Valley area of alpine meadows with blooming edelweiss. If
you're lucky, the mountains will slightly open their wealth, and
you are lucky enough to take home the raw natural rock crystal from
the Valley of the Seven Lakes - is advised to use this as an
amulet. Returning back to camp. The practice of painting - special
attention to this point can be given to the work with the
reflection in the water and transfer the depths of space. Back to
the camp on Akkemskoe Lake.
Day 9. Hiking to the Kara-Turek Pass
(alt. 3060 m.). From there you will see all peaks of Belukha
Mountain, Akkemskoe Lake, Yarlu Valley, Valley of Akkem River. This
pass is not difficult but with ascending and descending. Back to
the camp on Akkemskoe Lake.
Day 10. Extra day for the bad weather.
Preparing for the way back.
Day 11. Trekking from Akkemskoye Lake to
the Tekelu Waterfall (7 km.). Night in the tents.
Day 12. Trekking to Tri Berezy Camp. Off
road transfer to Tyungur Village. Finish of the tour. Dinner with
local food in a local style cafe (not including to price). Russian
sauna. Depart to Novosibirsk.
Day 13. Arriving to Novosibirsk 15:00 -
16:00 local time. It is better to take a tickets from Novosibirsk
back home at 19:00 or later.
Depending on weather conditions and the group guides can
change the route.
