Winter Elbrus Mountain Summit (alt. 5642 m.). Classic route (South).

Duration: 9 days. You can join only for acclimatization part for the first 6 days (by agreement).
Tour cost (all included): 55 000 RUB (per person if in final group of 4 people and more), 56 000 RUB (per person if in final group will be 3 persons), 67 000 RUB (per person if in final group will be 2 persons).
Price includes: guides (one guide + one assistant for the group more than 3 persons);  first aid; all food; accommodation; transfers (Mineralnye Vody - Neytrino - Mineralnye Vody, cableway), other transfers of the tour; registration of the group in Ministry of Emergency situation.
Price doesn't include: flight to Mineralnye Vody and back; rent of gear (sleeping bag, sleeping pad, backpack); rent of alpine gear (crampons, ice axe, carabiners, helmet, harness, snowshoes);  transfer to the Skaly Pastukhova Rocks by snowcat (5000-7000 RUB per person); lunch in a hotel (min 200 RUB); permission to climb Elbrus - 1200 rubles per person;  insurance (outdoor + medical).

The first part of the program of summit Elbrus Mountain is aimed at obtaining an optimal acclimatization in a nearby ravine and development of mountaineering skills required.   • The program begins and ends in Mineralnye Vody.

  • For acclimatization of the group we developed a plan of smooth speed acclimatization - adaptation to the high altitude, with a visit to the beautiful canyons of the Central Caucasus.

    Accommodation conditions: Neutrino Villge. A place of the settlement workers of Baksan Neutrino Observatory (BNO). Located in the heart of the Elbrus Region, away from the Baksan highway. It is quiet and cozy place with friendly Balkars. At the same time the village is located near the ski infrastructure. We will stay in a quiet private hotel. Accommodation in 2, 3 bed rooms with private facilities. If you wish, you can ask a separate apartment. It is also possible independent accommodation in hotels Terskol and Azau Glade from 1000 RUB per person.

  • Accommodation in tents during active program of acclimatization 2+1 3+1. During the summit in the huts (alt. 4200 m.).

  • Transfer: Mineralnye Vody - Neytrino - Mineralnye Vody. Van GAZelle or similar.

  • Two times a day meals during staying in the Village and acclimatization. Three times a day meals for the period of staying in the alpine zone: breakfast, dinner, and lunch box for the daytime (sandwiches, dried fruit, biscuits, chocolates). On the summit day we will give you special assault kit supply. You can feed by yourself if you like.

  • Weather conditions: Terskol and Neutrino: -5, -20° C, alt. 3800 m. from -5 to -30°C to -40°C at the top.

  • On request it is possible to stay and continue ski program after the summit, or to include a visit to other attractions: Chechemskie Waterfalls, thermal lake Aushiger.

    In case of life danger of the participants, the guide have the right to decide on the descent down the group and cancel the summit.

  • This program is potentially dangerous to the health and life of any of the participants. Guides will provide you with the necessary security, provided you comply with safety regulations.

  • The group is equipped with a first aid kit, radio and GPS. You sould carry your own specific medicine if you need it.

  • Before summit Elbrus group will registered in the Ministry of Emergency Situations (located Terskol). Contact with rescue team we can all over the route.

  • Tour program can be change depending on weather conditions, status of members and other circumstances.

    Information about purchasing tickets

    The meeting of group will take place in Mineralnye Vody on the first day of the program first half of the day. It is necessary to arrive before 12:00 local time. You can take your back ticket, on the last day after 15:00 local time.

Day 1. Meeting of the group in Mineralnye Vody. Transfer to the Prielbrusye. Accommodation in the hotel of Neutrino Village. Safety briefing.

Day 2. Ascend to the East Kurmychi Glacier by the valley - start of the acclimatization program. Crossing beautiful Kurmychi Valley by snowshoes. Camp near the bottom of glacier. Training how to build a camp and spend a night in winter mountains. Night in the tents.

Day 3. First part of a day - hiking to the glacier camp. After lunch will be training of movement by the snow and ice, ice climbing, belay technique. Night in the tents.

Day 4. Assault of VCSPS Pass and Kurmychi Peak (alt. 4045 m.) 1B difficult rate route. Descending to Terskol Village or Elbrus Village. Sauna.

Day 5. Rest day. Visiting Neutrino Village. Sauna. Preparations to the summit.

Day 6. Ascend to Garabashi camp (alt. 3800 m.) by the cableway. Hiking to Prijut-11 camp (alt. 4150 m.). Night in a warm shelter in Garabashi camp or in Prijut-11 camp.

Day 7. Acclimatization summit to the alt. 4800-5000 m. (Pastukhov Rocks). Night in a warm shelter in Garabashi camp or in Prijut-11 camp.

Day 8. Summit day. Wake up at 2:00, start at 3:00 or 4:00. The average time of summit is 12-14 hours for non-sports groups. For winter ascents, for the safe and successful outcome of the event, because short days, difficult terrain (firn and ice-covered areas above Pastukhov Rocks) and low temperatures we recommend you to use the service of snowcat on the summit.

Day 9. Transfer to the Mineralnye Vody.
